SFC Christchurch jib jam 2009

The first annual SFC jib jam chch took place friday 31st july. After alot of worry about getting snow and alot of prayer God hooked us up with a dump truck full of snow (cheers mt Hutt) The set up consisted of two drop in ramps, a 6m flat box, 3m rail and picnic table wall ride. The jibs where constantly attacked by at least 25-30 shredders and after everyone got bored of the rail it was removed to leave a small jump which then had a variety of tricks thrown off it. Half an hour and a snapped board later we saw a couple of front flips and a fully sick wild cat thrown by Sam. 540's and Skullcandy came to the party offering us the use of one of their rails and some dope headphones as a prize, won by Laura for her solid commitment and stepping out of the 'comfort zone'. All in all it was a super fun night and we look forward to next year and the step up we plan, watch this space! Huge thanks to all the SFC crew that helped make this event happen, The YWAM work party that finished building the drop in, Scotty from cheapskates, Dale from 540's and skull candy, Dave and the digger driver at mt Hutt, Worthington Contracting for the use of the dump truck , everyone for their prayers and mostly to God for answering them and making this thing happen, all glory to him! Amen, peace
