About 100 SFCrs and friends gathered on Sat 20th to kick the season off with a Jib Jam. It was the dream of the SFC crew to bless the snow community in the Mount and the BOP with a fun day and to just get the word out there that we are around! Local business's came to the party - Backdoor, RPM, Lower, Snow.co.nz donated cool spot prizes. GNU donated an awesome new board for the most committed and consistent rider on the day. Thrilled to say local boy Cam Graham won this honour and he takes his new GNU down to Ohakune this week to start his first season full time. Watch out for this boy! We ran the event with our friends at Concretelovin.co.nz - and skate ups skate crew. Copious donated a new deck for the best skater on the night. The atmosphere was amazing with photographers Jane Keam, Jono Craig and Inez Tucker running around snap happy as, Large bins of burning goodness (my word it was cold!), Outside snow flicks and a DJ just pumping up the atmosphere. Truly a cool night. BIG ups to the SFC crew up here especially Ants and Nici for organising an awesome night. We have 30 new members to our crew after the night and the camp registrations have already started so better sign up soon! Bless! Janno
